As you might know (if not, then you are being told right now), today at 6:00 us central time, it was announced that Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, had died of a heart arrest at an LA hospital.

I personally can't believe this, it was so sudden. Also, no one would expect that from someone who had 50 sold out shows.

The only thing I can say is RIP MJ!

Well to be honest what did you expect, he was in his 50's getting ready to do some major touring. when he announced his "final shows" all the press were saying, "Can he handle the strain"? evidently not.

Personally I'm not that surprised or bothered, if he had died back in the early nineties when he was still relatively popular with the general public then it would have been more of a shock.

Say what you will about MJ, he changed the face of music as we know it. It's a shame many will now remember him for his dark later years...

The world would surely be a different place without Michael ever existing. He really was the king of pop.

he changed the face of music as we know it.

He also changed his own face a few times, too.

I couldn't resist.
