I happened to find a copy of Wii Fit in GAME late last week and - knowing how hard they are to find - decided to pick it up. It's been sitting in my room unopened for the past few days. I'm worried I'll play it for a week or so, get bored, and will have wasted £70.

Has anyone else picked up Wii Fit recently? Do you still play it? Has it actually helped your fitness levels?

Nah, I never bothered with it. My mam said she was going to buy a Wii especially for this game.
She never bothered either, so if she does eventually get one i'll play it.
But I can see it having the same novelty value as Wii sports.

I haven't ever even seen the dang thing in real life, let alone try it.

I havent played on it for weeks, and I need to get some sort of exercise done, but to be honest i'd rather go on a bike ride or have a game of tennis. My mum occasionally plays it though, as she was the one that bought it.

My parents bought it from me in the end. I've played it for 30 mins or so - I can't see myself playing it often.

My mom talks about buying her own Wii just to play this game.
Doubt she'll do that though.

I have been using my wii fit for 3 months now and still use it about twice per week. I do martial arts and find some of the balance games are really good for building the muscles I need for Goyararu.

I have seen some new games coming out that use the balance board - such as skiing but I think the inbuilt seem pretty good and there is enough to keep you interest up. My wii age went from 74 to 32 in the first 6 weeks and now I level off at 32. My real age is 39.

Okie I'll give it a try I don't have "gajillion reps" unlocked but if I see it I'll check it out.

Oh it makes you do press ups slower I know it does that's for sure. It makes you wait before doing each press. It's kind of hard I haven't bothered trying yet sad.gif My Wii Fit age was in the 40's I like the little hints the Wii gives you after each exercise (Right word wrong spelling there).

But does it make you do press ups properly? Most people I know say they can do x press ups a minute, but there press ups are just up/down one inch at a time. You have to get ALL the way down to the floor!

They should make a second Wii Fit. With a chin-up bar, a treadmill and Richard Simmons!

Nah, what you need is a Mr Motivator with every purchase!
